Introducing Letters

Notes is not Substack or Medium. And frankly, we are not trying to be. We just want to be this contrarian, small, creative team of people building cool, fun and interesting productivity tools to enable people to express themselves differently. So, some of our ideas will be ridiculous, but sometimes, really great!

We built something called Letters.

Letters allows you to send your Note as emails to your Followers. They can unsubscribe whenever they want to.

From the Desk (or Write) page, after typing your essay, click on POST, a dialog box appears that shows you the collection your Note will be saved to. Next to this, you’ll find a Switch button to turn ON or OFF sending this Note as an email to your Followers. (Just like this one you’ve received from me.)

We only allow 1 Letter/week for Free users, 7 Letters/week for Basic users, and 14 Letters/week for Pro users. (For now, everyone has Pro-level privileges, so you can try out the features we’re rolling out in the coming weeks—sneak peek: how do you spell AI? ShhShhh! More on this later.)
