Sometimes, the reason why you're not progressing is not because the devil is doing evil in your life. Neither is it your family and village people nor is it because it's not God's time yet. It's because of curses. Yes, a curse had(s) been placed on you, for something you did, knowingly or unknowingly.
There's a reason why I say this and I'll tell you something that happened. Sometime ago, something happened to an old woman that lives beside me. This old woman has a farmland by her house, where she plants cassava, banana, plantain, and other plants.
One day, someone came and cut the biggest bunch of banana in her farm. Coincidentally, that was the day she went to harvest the banana. To her greatest dismay, unfortunately, she saw that the banana had been cut. For an old woman who is struggling to make ends meet while planting food crops and selling, it wasn't easy to swallow this news.
Suddenly, I heard her shouting. "Who cut my banana? You waited till it was ripe for harvest before cutting it! Now that you've stolen it, what do you want me to sell and eat?" Her voice echoed in the compound. Actually, it's very quiet where I live; except for sounds of vehicles, generators and rain, it's awfully quiet. What caught my attention was when she said, "You want to steal, right? Because you stole, it will follow you wherever you go. It shall not be well with you!" and I felt pity for the thief. It was hurtful to hear such curses being placed on a personal, from an old woman at that.
Now, do you think that curse the old woman placed will follow the thief or not? Of course it will. She didn't say it aimlessly, she said it with great pains. And unless the thief comes back and apologizes to her, the curse would work. But there's something you should know. For every wrong you do (except you make it right), there's a punishment attached. Even if the person you offended does not place a curse on you, you'll be punished, sooner or later.
Also, if you place unnecessary curses on people for no reason, the curses go nowhere. They vanish into thin air. This doesn't mean you should place curses. If God has seen how hurt you are, He'll do the needful, at the right time.
But then, there's a way out of curses. Everything, of course, is possible with God. If you whole heartedly accept that you did wrong and you're willing to be free from any curse binding you, you can pray to and plead with God. And you know what? He'll answer you. He's a loving and a merciful Father.
