Mary was obsessed with candy, she could not do without them, no day passes without Mary having several packets of candy. This was bad for her health and Mary knew this quite well. Even when Mary was hungry she would still crave for candy on this faithful day. Mary was very hungry but instead of eating real homemade food, she ate candy over and over again and the more she ate it the more hungry she was but she kept ignoring this and kept taking candy refusing to prepare real homemade food to eat. Gradually and continually Mary skipped meals and took a lot of candy until she became very sick and was taken by her friends to go see a doctor. After several tests carried by the doctor, Mary was found to be very malnourished, her body lacked a lot of nutrients to keep it functioning and a huge those of sugar was found in her system. This warranted the Doctor who asked Mary the question "what exactly is going on Mary?" Mary opened up and confessed to the doctor about her obsession for candy more than real homemade food the doctor then advised Mary saying "I know you may like Candy but that is not what you need for your physical and mental growth, you need and must eat real food" After this, Mary came back home, took her can and packets of candy and threw them into the trash can. She began cooking real food from rice to beans to pasta to scrambled eggs and many other delicacies and within few weeks Mary's health was up and bouncing. Now Mary knew that though she may like candy and still occasionally craved it, her body needed growth and if she wants to live longer she will need to focus on eating real food and not waste her life on the distraction of candy.
Mary's distraction was candy, but may if I ask, what is your distraction? What is that thing that have taken so much away from you and added nothing useful to you? and how are you working towards focusing on the important things in your life and stop being so distracted? Think about this.

Joshua Francis.Mary, Mary. I know what that's like? My distraction is that I don't sleep. (But, not to worry, I've repented.)
